Description

This harness high-limit assembly connects the oven/dryer high-limit thermostat to the control system to help protect against overheating. It replaces a damaged or worn high-limit wiring harness to restore proper thermal cutoff signaling. What it does:

• Routes electrical connections between the high-limit thermostat/thermal cutoff and the appliance control
• Allows the high-limit device to open the circuit when temperatures exceed safe limits
• Common symptom: appliance fails to heat or repeatedly trips a thermal cutoff
• Common symptom: visible damaged/frayed wires or loose connector fit at the high-limit
